Charles Dickens

Pye 7N 15887 - "That's The Way Love Goes" c/w "In The City"
June 1965 Publicity Sheet (??? words)

Male singer from London, making his record debut, a minor chart entry. Before being discovered, he was using another assumed name, presumably because his real name was an embarrassment (not revealed here but it could be regarded as such). The publicity sheet has useful biographical information.

Pye 7N 15938 - "I Stand Alone" c/w "Hey There Little Girl"
October 1965 Publicity Sheet (317 words)

This was his second, and last, Pye single. The publicity sheet has some biographical information, suggesting it was very easy to become a Pop singer at this time if you were young and available - there were plenty of "strangers" around only too happy to assist a young man.
