     American four man vocal group based in New York with a changeable line-up since their formation in 1953 by Clyde McPhatter (the name list shows past and present members to date). In 1958 they disbanded but a new group was formed in 1959, becoming significant hit-makers on both sides of the Atlantic. This publicity sheet has some biographical information.
